Project Pinata – art in the park Workshops

Pinata-Art-in-the-park_Fern-Smith_webWhat:  A piñata is a container made paper mache and traditionally filled with seeds, sweets, or little toys etc and then broken. They are a common celebration creation in Europe, Spain, Italy, Portugal and the Latin Americas.

Why: These Pinatas will be made without sweets and fillings, as they are being made as artworks to be hung in Bain Reserve Merlynston on the day of the Diverse Voices Festival in November 2014

Where: The workshops will be held at Fern Smiths Art studio and bookings are essential as the size is limited to six person per workshop.  Who: All ages, however five years  and under must be accompanied by an adult.
